ELECTRIC MOTORS FOR LIFTING MECHANISMS

“ELMATECH” JSC produces three-phase induction electric motors with non-adjustable electromagnetic brake for lifting mechanisms of hoists with shaft height 100, 112 and 132 mm. Available versions: with or without manual brake release; with or without independent cooling. Depending on the type of the hoist, the motors are divided into the following types:

APPLICATION

  • The electric motors are with axis height 100, 112 and 132 mm. They are designed for lifting mechanisms of hoists.

    CТ XXXX-Y ZZZ

    • where:
      • CT – motor type;
      • XXXX – frame size;
      • Y – number of the poles;
      • ZZZ – index of the joining dimensions.

DESCRIPTION

  • The brake motor is one whole product. The brake is electromagnetic, with DC voltage supply. The magnetic core of the brake is mounted on the rear bearing shield. The friction surface is a ferodo disc glued to the fan disc and pressed by the anchor by means of cylindrical springs. The air gap between the anchor and the magnetic core is adjusted by a special nut mounted on the shaft end.

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS

  • Voltage for three-phase electric motors – 220/380V at connection D/U;
  • Voltage frequency – 50 Hz;
  • The electric motors also can be manufactured for power supply from 200V up to 440V at connection D and up to 660V at connection U, as well for frequency of 60 Hz;
  • Rectified DC voltage to the brake coil – 0.45 Un;
  • Degree of protection:
  • For the motor – IP54;
  • For the brake – IP40;
  • Insulation class – F;
  • Duty cycle:
    • S1;S4 – 40% for one speed motors with – 2p=2, 4, 6, 8;
    • S4 – 15/30% for two speed motors with – 2p=4/2, 8/4, 8/2, 12/4.

CHARACTERISTICS CONNECTED TO THE BRAKE

  • Depending on the connection of the motor, there are two ways for braking – slow and fast;
  • Slow braking – AC supply of the brake is cut off simultaneously with that of the motor – Fig. 1;
  • Fast braking – DC supply of the brake is cut off simultaneously with that of the motor – Fig. 2.
